March 30, 2020

To our Skate Family:

It has only been two weeks since we have enacted social distancing in Allegheny County. It seems longer to us. We miss all of our Skate Family. It is strange not seeing and rolling with you. We hope and pray that everyone is taking the appropriate measures to stay healthy and safe.

The initial government estimates on lifting the stay in place and social distancing guidelines by April 1 were very optimistic. Over the weekend the Federal and State governments have extended the stay in place and social distancing order until April 30, 2020. While we know that roller skating is an essential business in keeping people mentally and physically healthy, we will remain closed until April 30.

We are hoping to re-open for all public sessions and private events beginning on Friday, May 1, 2020. This date will depend on "non-essential" businesses being permitted to reopen.

We will continue to monitor the Allegheny County Health Department website and other appropriate sources for updates regarding our region.

We look forward to rolling with everyone again in the near future.

Stay safe and healthy!
